Abstract:

Redescriptions of two closely related species Agelena orientalis C.L. Koch, 1837 and A. labyrinthica (Clerck, 1757) are provided, based on specimens from Crimea, continental Ukraine and Abkhazia (West Caucasus). Crimea is supposed to be the northernmost point of A. orientalls distribution. Comparative illustrations, diagnoses, spatial distribution, seasonal dynamics of activity for both species are presented.
