| Abstract: | The present paper deals with six species of spider collected from Mount West Thianmu (Xitianmu Shan), Zhejiang Province, China. Five new species are described: Leptoneta arquata sp. nov. (Leptonetidae), Theridion quadrimaculatum sp. nov. (Theridiidae), Cicurina tianmuensis sp. nov. (Agelenidae), Hahnia tortuosa sp. nov. (Hahniidae), and Phrurolithus zhejiangensis sp. nov. (Liocranidae). One species, Theonoe weyersi Brignoli (Theridiidae) is newly recorded from China. On examining the soil samples collected from Mount West Tianmu, Zhejiang Province, China, some new species and new records from China are found. In the present paper, five new species and one new record are described. All the type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing.
