Abstract:

The present paper reports six new species of the genus Agelena, collected from Hunan, Yunnan, Sichuan and Zhejiang Provences. All the type specimens are deposited in the Hunan Biology Research Institute. The new species are Agelena scopulata, Agelena cymbiforma, Agelena otiforma, Agelena sublimbata, Agelena poliosata, and Agelena sangzhiensis.
