Abstract:

This paper gives basic information on the ecology, seasonal dynamics, annual rhythm, mobility and ethology of three spider species of the genus Coelotes (C.L. Koch. 1936) - C. atropos (Walck., 1825), C. inermis (C.L. Koch, 1868) and C. terrestris (Wid., 1834). All these species often live together in some biotopes. The overlapping of spider niches is postulated and some factors allowing the species coexistence are discussed.
