Abstract:

Some new data about Lycosidae and Agelenidae (Arachnida, Araneae) from the “Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas”
Natural Park (Jaén, Spain)
Abstract: 429 specimens of spiders from the “Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas” Natural Park (Jaén, Spain) were found to include
a total of 28 species belonging to the families Lycosidae and Agelenidae. Of these, 21 are here recorded from the area for the
first time. Both the male of Malthonica vidua (Cárdenas & Barrientos, 2011) and a new species, Tegenaria serrana sp.nov. (probably
an Iberian endemic), are described. The possible relationships between the new species and the other species of the surrounding
Mediterranean areas are discussed.
