Abstract:

The hitherto unknown male of Tegenaria percuriosa is described and the female is redescribed on newly collected specimens coming from the type locality of the species, the cave Zindan magarasi near Aksu, vilayet Isparta, Turkey, and detailed illustrations are given of both the male and female genitalia. The synonymy of Tegenaria boitanii Brignoli, 1978 with Tegenaria percuriosa Brignoli, 1972 (syn. nova) is proposed after the examination of the male holotype of the former species, described from Abant, vilayet Bolu, km 300 north of Aksu. The female paratype of T. boitanii is not conspeciic with the male holotype and probably belongs to an undescribed species of Tegenaria.
